U-Power offers three main safety toe options: Aluminum Toe, Composite Toe, and Fiberglass Toe– for lightweight, metal-free protection. All options meet required safety standards while offering different benefits in weight, comfort, and work environment suitability.

After heavy use:
• Remove dirt with a soft brush or damp cloth.
• Clean the outsole tread to prevent buildup.
• For leather models, use mild soap and water.
• For microfiber/textile, wipe gently — avoid aggressive scrubbing.
If shoes get wet:
• Remove insoles.
• Let them air dry naturally at room temperature.
• Stuff with newspaper to absorb moisture.

U-Power Universal Fit is a design philosophy that shapes the shoe to comfortably fit a wide range of foot types without feeling too narrow or too bulky. Instead of a tight, restrictive safety boot or an overly wide fit, Universal Fit is engineered to provide Balanced toe room and (without excessive bulk) Secure heel hold. Universal Fit means the shoe is designed to feel comfortable for most workers right out of the box — combining safety, stability, and all-day wearability.

U-Power boots should feel comfortable immediately — not painful break-in periods.

The Apex uses U-Power's AirToe® Aluminum safety toe cap, rated I/C (impact and compression) under ASTM F2413-24. It is a lightweight metal-alloy toe that helps keep the footwear streamlined and less bulky than a traditional steel-toe design. Because it is metal, it will trigger a metal detector — if you need a fully metal-free option, look for our MF models instead.

Yes — the Apex is best suited for Maintenance, Warehouse and Manufacturing environments, based on its I/C SD35 SRO safety rating, slip-resistant sole and overall construction.

Yes. The Apex is rated SD35 (Static Dissipative), helping channel static build-up safely to ground. That makes it a strong option for electronics assembly, cleanrooms and other workplaces where uncontrolled electrostatic discharge can be a concern.

The Apex uses High abrasion-resistant PUTEK PLUS. This technical textile is engineered for high abrasion resistance while keeping the shoe lighter and more breathable than a traditional all-leather upper. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth and let it air dry naturally; it does not need leather conditioning.

The Apex uses PUTEK® PLUS, a high-abrasion-resistant technical textile designed to withstand repeated scuffing and flexing better than standard synthetic fabrics. It also stays lighter and more breathable than a traditional all-leather upper, which helps on long workdays.

The Apex is a low-cut style on U-Power's Universal Fit last — a roomier toe box with secure heel hold. It runs true to size for most wearers; use our True Fit tool if you're between sizes.
